Rapid Introduction of Antagonist (RAI) is placement of Naltrexone (competitive blocking agent - implant) in order to create abrupt cessation of craving for opiates (Heroin, Buprenorphine...). This process takes 1-3 hospital days in complete comfort under sedation.
Rapid Methadone to Naltrexone transfer is a fast two-way method which includes transfer from Methadone to Buprenorphine ( Suboxone, Subutex...) and from Buprenorphine to blocking agent Naltrexone. This treatment takes 14 comfortable hospital days.
